Passionate About Inspiring Others
My mission in teaching is providing educational opportunities to students by being a master instructor. For over two decades, I have facilitated learning for students in middle school, high school, colleges and universities, and collaborated with faculty members in designing engaging online courses. I have taught students face-to-face, virtually, synchronously and asynchronously.
I stay current on trends and issues in the field through reading texts and journals and am affiliated with the leading organizations in online education as well as the Project Management Institute. As an element of my professional development, I attend and participate in conferences and have presented at local, regional, state, and national conferences. My most recent presentation was in January 2018, at the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC). I collaborated with two colleagues and presented, “Robotics: STEAM Rolling The Path to Student Success!”
I understand my responsibility as a role model and share the importance of integrity, honesty, effort, and planning with my students. I take a personal interest in my students’ progress and I am eternally optimistic. I believe that my success as an educator is based upon effective communication skills.
I look forward to sharing with you my passion and commitment for teaching, facilitating lifelong learning, and ensuring students have the opportunity and proper preparation to achieve!
